So it’s the end of spring marking the end of the second season of Lost. Although this season hasn’t been as good as the first season, it still is one of the better shows on TV today. Actually, this year’s season finale answered a lot more about what’s going on at the “island”. To set the scene, the finale takes place roughly two months after the passengers of Oceanic Flight 815 crash-landed (9.22.04). Some of you might not have seen the episode so I’ll hide the specific stuff under a spoiler tag.

- Jack, Saiyid, and Sawyer swim out to a sail boat off the shore.
- Desmond returns after two and a half weeks at sea.

- Desmond was dishonorably discharged from the Royal Scotch Regiments of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces.
- “One of these boxes contains your past, the other your future.”
- “No! Michael cannot sense we know he is lying. All we have element of surprise, Jack.”
- Mr. Eko puts the smackdown on Locke. “You are free now, John.”

- Libby (Elizabeth) pays for Desmond’s coffee and gives him the boat.
- “I will win this race for love.”
- “Did that bird just say my name?”
- “Sorry man, guess I forgot to load that one.”
- Sayid is forced to bring Sun along for the ride.

- Jack is spotted at the stadium before Desmond starts running the stairs.
- “Hello yourself, Boss man.”
- “I don’t know what is more disquieting. The fact that the rest of the statue is missing, or that it has four toes.”

- Locke locks Mr. Eko outside of the computer room and steals his Jesus stick.
- “I’m more sure of this than anything in my entire life.”
- Kelvin Inman finds Desmond lying on the beach and brings him to the hatch.
- “Just save’n the world.”
- Mr. Eko escapes through the hatch that was blown open at the end of the first season.

- Sawyer finds Locke’s mini-map he sent through the air-chute.

- “We’re nowhere near the beach!”
- “What if you’ve got it backwards? What if the experiment wasn’t on the two men in here, but the two men in there?”
- Desmond spots the rip in Kelvin’s pants.

- Desmond sneaks out of the bunker Ninja-style.

- “What else did you lie to me about!”

- “September 22nd. It was September 22nd.”
- “I think I crashed your plane.”
- Mr. Friendly aka Tom takes off his beard.
- “Where’s your beard?”
- “Henry” is revealed to be the leader of the “Others”.
- “September the 22nd 2004, the day your plane crashed. It’s real! It’s all bloody real!”
- “You saved my life broth-ah, so that I could save yours.”
- “I’ll see you in another life broth-ah”

- It is not reveled if either Desmond, Locke, or Mr. Eko survives after Desmond turns the key.
- >/ 7438880 Electromagnetic Anomaly Detected

- “I think we found it.” Could someone finally have found the island?
Anyway, I think this is probably the best Lost episode in a while considering how much information they solve, yet introducing more mystery for season three.
