Everybody’s favorite lanky, funky-shooting, Nigerian big-man Ekene Ibekwe will return to the University of Maryland for his senior season instead of entering the NBA draft! Reported incorrectly by ESPN as a sophomore, but correctly reported as a junior by UMTerps.com, Ekene will come back to school and take summer classes to finish up his degree requirements before he loses eligibility to play organized college athletic sports. We already know that the Terps were bad enough not to make the last two NCAA tournaments, but with Nik Caner-Medley, Chris McCray, and Travis Garrison graduating/losing their college eligibility, Ekene and DJ had better step it up or it’s going to be three years in a row. At least we have the Women’s NCAA Champion Lady Terps Basketball team to cheer for…
