So this weekend I’m going be driving my brother’s car down to Maryland to help him move into his new apartment. We’re leaving early Saturday morning so we can get there before the 12 noon to pick up his keys and we’ll stay overnight to buy supplies and other apartment related materials. On Sunday night, I’m going to take the Amtrak back to New Jersey, but hopefully I’ll have enough video material left so I won’t get too bored (are a few episodes of Doctor Who, Eureka Seven, and Justice League Unlimited enough?). Anyway, I’m taking my camera with me to take pics, so watch for a new picture album coming soon.
[Update 6.11.06]
After leaving at 6:12 AM on Saturday morning, we finally arrived in Germantown, MD at around 10:30 AM, quite a marathon car drive. Fortuantely they were having a free BBQ at the pool and we got a nice catered lunch from Famous Dave’s. After moving all the stuff from both cars, we went over to Costco to pick up a table, a microwave, pot / steamer, and some other food stuffs. At night we mostly had to sleep on / in sleeping bags, comforters, and old couch cushions because we didn’t have any beds. I think I might have gotten sick, since now I have a sore throat and my voice is scratchy.

The next morning, we drove over to Rockville to find out how good the Chinese restaurants and grocery stores are. I’d say I was impressed considering I go to the NYC chinatown every month or so and there are a good deal of chinese restaurants and supermarkets up here in NJ. After picking up some more food supplies in College Park, I headed home while my parents will stay down in Maryland for another two days. As usual, I took the College Park Metro to Union Station and took Amtrak up to Philadelphia and transferred to another train to Princeton Junction in West Windsor, NJ. My mom’s friend Millie picked me up and gave me a ride home. Check the photos of my journey up in my gallery
