We’ve been waiting for it and now we have it. Haywire, his bicycle, and his football helmet all make a triumphant return to Prison Break. In another great episode, we follow each member’s progress and how they will all group up. Last week we left off with Michael, Lincoln, T-Bag, and Tweener in Utah after they bumped into each other in town. We also saw C-Note walking, Sucre riding his motorcycle, and in the episode before that Abruzzi dying. This week we see how everything shakes out and how they plan on getting to the money before Agent Mahone tracks them down.

As we saw last time, our convicts had no idea where the silo went and where they would begin to look. However as they drive around town, they begin to piece together where it might have been. T-Bag only remembers that it was near some trees, but Michael gets it down to the exact spot where it should be. By looking at the height of the oldest trees in the area he logically places it between the tallest one and the shorter ones. It appears as if they’ve built a garage on top of the spot so it’s time for some digging. Very reminescent of their dig during PI duty in the break room in season 1.
In the mean time, C-Note and Sucre meet up on the road and follow C-Note’s hand-drawn map. They decide to team up to get the money for themselves, but bump into Michael’s group as they star digging in the garage. Now six of the Fox River Eight are back together for the first time since the escape.
However, we finally have a Haywire sighting! Apparently he’s still going around in Wisconsin with this bicycle and football helmet and nobody has seen him yet. Considering he’s the easiest one to spot, it’s amazing how nobody has reported someone this odd riding around with no destination (since he has no idea about Westmoreland’s money). This is until he breaks into an ice cream parlor and subsequently breaks into a blind woman’s home to eat a sandwich, get clean clothes, and steal the painting of Holland from the kitchen. The funny part about it is that Agent Mahone doesn’t care about him and simply dispatches local police to get a hold of him.
As a side note, Governer Tancredi has caught on to Sara’s new buddy “Lance” Kellerman and knows he’s actually a government agent. I find it a little surprising that Kellerman hasn’t taken more precautions to hide himself though. He’s really only acknowledged by Agent William Kim now and not even by President Caroline Reynolds anymore.
As the episode winds down, Tweener is the first convict caught (not killed) by Agent Mahone and it looks like the entire group is in trouble after local police have surrounded the building. Will there be some way to escape under the garage like in the PI break room? I predict that if Haywire isn’t caught that either Sucre or C-Note are the next to go. Is it possible Mahone will use Tweener to his advantage in an effort to capture the entire group? Lastly, “Subdivision” refers to the plot of land where the Double K Ranch was subdivided into lots where houses were built on top of it.
Now that we’ve seen Haywire, what should we be looking out for next week? I’d like to see more of “The Company” since we’ve only seen glimpses of them in opposition of Kellerman. We’ve already know Quinn is dead, but where did Michael and Lincoln’s father go? How does Shales still fit into the plot? Will Bellick and Geary return?
