Wednesday night in Japan, the Seibu Lions accepted the $51.1 million bid by the Boston Red Sox for star pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka. With an overwhelming $13 million over the next closest bid by the New York Mets, the Red Sox will have 30 days to negotiate a contract with Matsuzaka.
