Most people might not know it, but a Filipino swimmer won a gold medal Tuesday morning at the Olympics…well at least partly Filipino. Apparently Natalie Coughlin, the winner in the 100m backstroke, is one quarter Filipino even though she doesn’t really look like one at all. Look at this spelling. If you are from the Philippines, you are Filipino. It should be “Philipino”.
