  • Incredible finish! USA 1-0 over Algeria! The office is going wild! #
  • Watching the 2nd most exciting event today. John Isner vs. Nicholas Mahut at Wimbledon still playing the longest tennis match ever. #
  • Hoping Greivis Vasquez (and Eric Hayes and Landon Milbourne) from the University of Maryland get picked during the NBA Draft. #
  • Really liking the bear hug Greivis gave David Stern after he got drafted by the Grizzlies with the 28th pick. #

Twitter Weekly Updates for 2010-06-20

  • Saw a guy walking around chinatown in NYC with an open umbrella. Must have been preparing early, because it started raining 5 hours later. #
  • There’s a new intern who’s staying for the summer (son of a coworker). Finally I’m not the youngest one in the office anymore. #
  • So very sad that the candy bowl hasn’t been filled for over a month now. #
  • Eating some fresh pineapple slices to get rid of the aftertaste from these horrible-tasting kettle-style potato chips I found at work. >_< #
  • Jackie Chan Hates Karate Kids :O http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85WNaVTXVaI #
  • Kirby looks so cute in his new game, “Kirby’s Epic Yarn”. Becoming a must-buy for the Wii. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqcvM_MiREo #
  • Vuvuzelas officially banned at Yankee Stadium! http://blogs.wsj.com/metropolis/2010/06/17/yankees-ban-vuvuzelas/ #
  • Quite disappointed that Team USA was ripped off by Malian referee Koman Coulibaly. No foul, no offisides. At least they’re still alive. #
  • Have to pull a stick of DDR2 RAM from my computer to help revive my dad’s computer. Hopefully in doing so, I won’t kill both of them. #
  • Turns out that the video card on the computer died. Good thing I had an old 7900GT lying around. Back up and running! (and happy parents) #
  • Just watched G.I. Joe on DVD. Terrible script and corny jokes, but the fight scenes between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow were pretty good. #
  • Finished watching “Invictus” starring Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon. Excellent movie and the best I’ve seen this year since “Up!”. #

  • Just found out that you can use custom pictures (or photos from picasa) on the Google homepage now (lower left corner). #
  • Getting a huge bruise on my left knee by hitting it while playing tennis is not good. Limped around for another hour until it got dark. :( #
  • Finished watching the Jackie Chan film “The Spy Next Door”…not one of his best movies. Hearing them call him “Bob Ho” was just strange. #
  • Finally eating the Espresso Chip ice cream…and with fresh blueberries this time. #
  • For the next month, there’s no more CNBC 24/7 around here. Everyone is watching World Cup “football” now. #
  • Laffy Taffy Joke of the Day: How do you get a free light bulb? Catch a Lightening Bug. #
  • Waking up early to go to Tai Chi practice with my dad…and to see a little South Korea vs. Greece World Cup action. #
  • GOOOOOOOOOAL Lee Jung-Soo of S.Korea! Then a Korean guy got the ball kicked in his face by his own teammate. #
  • Got to Tai Chi practice late, so I missed the 24-form style. Ended up going running, then got a bubble tea and French vanilla cappuccino. #
  • Never really disliked any musical instrument before, but after 2 days of the World Cup I’m putting the Vuvuzela at the bottom of my list. #
